06 / API / AUTOMATION
API integrations and workflow automation
When people copy data between services, the solution needs more than a connection. We define who owns each piece of data, which events trigger work and how errors are resolved.
01 / When this is a good fit
Does this sound
like your task?
- Your application needs to exchange data with another service.
- Orders, documents, statuses or notifications require repetitive manual actions.
- You need a verifiable data flow with handling for errors and repeated events.
02 / FROM TASK TO RESULT
How the work happens
- 01
Describe the process
Identify data sources, update permissions and what counts as a completed operation.
- 02
Check service capabilities
Review documentation, permissions, plan limits and sandbox access. Identify what the API cannot do.
- 03
Implement the exchange
Agree on formats, identifiers and repeated-event behaviour. Add the required error handling.
- 04
Test normal and difficult cases
Check successful delivery, repeated events, unavailable services and partial failures. Decide who handles exceptions.
03 / ESTIMATE & SCOPE
What shapes
the scope.
- API availability, documentation and test accounts.
- Data direction, volume and update frequency.
- Rules for duplicate events, failures and partial completion.
Before starting, we check API access, plan limits and data requirements. External service costs and ongoing support are agreed separately.
What to share for the first conversation
Name the systems, the data and the event that should trigger the exchange. API links and one sample input without credentials are useful.
Q / A
Working
together.
Does this require AI?
Not always. Rules and conventional APIs may be sufficient. AI is worth testing when the workflow involves unstructured data or language tasks.
What if a service has no API?
First we check supported exchange options, including webhooks, imports, exports and official integrations. Other approaches need a separate feasibility and reliability assessment.
Can duplicate records be prevented?
We need stable identifiers and explicit rules for repeated events. The exact guarantee depends on the capabilities of both systems.
Are there additional costs?
Service subscriptions, hosting and API usage may add costs. We estimate them separately from development for the selected workflow.
